Jammu Airport (IXJ)

Fly into Satwari. From the terminal, hire a prepaid taxi or app cab toward Kot Bhalwal / MIET (about 40–50 minutes depending on traffic).

Most long-distance trains terminate at Jammu Tawi. From the station, take an auto, taxi, or cab to MIET Kot Bhalwal (roughly 35–45 minutes).

State and private buses connect Jammu with major northern cities. From the Interstate Bus Terminal or city stands, continue by local taxi toward Kot Bhalwal.

How to reach MIET.

Model Institute of Engineering & Technology sits in Kot Bhalwal, about 13–15 km from central Jammu.

  • Airport
    ~40–50 min by taxi Exit Satwari toward the Akhnoor / Kot Bhalwal road. Ask the driver for “MIET Kot Bhalwal” — the campus gate is well marked.
  • JAT
    ~35–45 min from Jammu Tawi Take a cab via Bantalab / Kot Bhalwal. Distance is about 13 km; share autos may require a change toward Balwal.
  • City
    ~30–40 min from city centre From Jewel Chowk / Gandhi Nagar side, follow signs toward Bantalab then Kot Bhalwal. Local buses and cabs run this corridor through the day.
