The Convention

A two-day flagship gathering for the Northern Region.

"Engineering Intelligence" traces one line — from resource-constrained embedded devices to autonomous agents capable of reasoning, learning, and decision-making.
  • 01Showcase — present technical talent and original ideas to peers and industry experts.
  • 02Build — work hands-on in workshops and technical competitions.
  • 03Connect — meet academicians, researchers, and professionals from across the region.
  • 04Practice — get direct exposure to the technologies shaping the next decade of engineering.
  • 05Lead — grow collaboration, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Technical Workshops

Three tracks, one throughline.

Hands-on sessions pairing conceptual grounding with real implementation — pick a track or move between the physical and the intelligent.

WORKSHOP 01
Agentic AI

Agentic AI: Building Intelligent Autonomous Agents

Explore the next frontier of Artificial Intelligence by learning how autonomous AI agents perceive, reason, plan, and execute complex tasks. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agent frameworks, workflow automation, prompt engineering, tool integration, memory management, and multi-agent collaboration. The workshop emphasizes practical applications in engineering, automation, and intelligent decision-making.

  • Fundamentals of Agentic AI — how agents perceive, reason, plan, and act
  • AI Agents using LLMs — build agents powered by large language models
  • Prompt Engineering — craft reliable instructions for tool use and reasoning
  • Multi-Agent Systems — coordinate specialized agents that collaborate on tasks
  • AI Workflow Automation — connect tools, memory, and steps into end-to-end pipelines
  • Real-world Engineering Applications — apply agentic AI to automation and decision-making
WORKSHOP 02
Embedded Systems

Arduino Innovation: Smart Embedded System Design

This workshop introduces participants to embedded system development using Arduino and modern sensor technologies. Students will design and develop intelligent prototypes by integrating sensors, actuators, communication modules, and IoT platforms. The workshop promotes innovation through project-based learning and rapid prototyping.

  • Arduino Programming — write, upload, and debug firmware for microcontrollers
  • Sensor Interfacing — connect and read data from real-world sensors
  • Embedded System Design — architect compact, reliable hardware–software systems
  • IoT Connectivity — link prototypes to networks and cloud platforms
  • Automation Projects — build systems that sense, decide, and act
  • Innovation through Prototyping — iterate fast from idea to working demo
WORKSHOP 03
Cyber Physical Systems

Cyber Physical Systems: Connecting Intelligence with the Physical World

Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) integrate computation, communication, and physical processes to create intelligent and autonomous systems. This workshop provides practical exposure to CPS architecture, embedded controllers, wireless communication, edge intelligence, digital twins, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Participants will understand how smart systems interact with the physical world in domains such as healthcare, smart manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities.

  • Introduction to Cyber Physical Systems — how computation meets physical processes
  • Embedded Intelligence — controllers that sense and respond in real time
  • IoT and Edge Computing — process data close to where it is generated
  • Digital Twin Concepts — mirror physical assets in software for insight and control
  • Industrial Automation — CPS patterns used on the factory floor
  • Smart Cities & Industry 4.0 Applications — healthcare, manufacturing, mobility, and urban systems
